Sussex Hotel - Reservar una mesa

My wife and I and two friends attended at this Hotel for Lunch. I ordered a Beef Schnitzel and the wife ordered the Lambs Fry. The first 5 bites of my schnitzel were gristle which I had to spit out. I left the rest even though it was a good size. My meal was served with chips which were just about cold. My wife's meal was just as poor. Lambs Fry that was served on a bed of roasted potatoes (shouldn't it be mashed potatoes?)...very tough and chewy and the potatoes were obviously left over from yesterday. Again the meal was cool and not left a lot to be desired. The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because of the friendliness of the serving staff.

The Sussex is a longstanding local institution on Walkerville Terrace, which has served generations of patrons.Recently, I visited the Sussex for lunch, when I enjoyed a tasty serve of battered fish and chips, together with salad from the self service bar.The strengths of the Sussex are straightforward honestly presented food at reasonable prices, served with a smile by friendly staff.You can sit inside, or outside in the beer garden.Well worthwhile for a value priced meal with family and friends!

4 adults attended for lunch yesterday, meals were great value and tasted great. Meal prices were very reasonable and i would have no hesitation in either recommending or returning here. My only complaint was that the bar prices for alcohol seem to fluctuate, depending on who was serving.

I`ve been back and forward to the Sussex over the last 2 months while visiting Adelaide to get medical treatment.We drop in before and after my appointments and found the staff pleasant to deal with,the beer cold and the food good.

A great eatery and also has shop a dockets for cheaper meals. Make sure you ring ahead and book to avoid disappointment.
