Highly recommend. Best steak house in the Sacramento. My steak was cooked to perfection. The roasted garlic and butter that comes with it adds the extra flavors I love. The grilled asparagus, sautéd mushrooms, the fried potato cakes, and calamari are over the top. The flavors of everything are mouth watering. The portion sizes on the vegetables are enough for three to four people to share. The service is top-notch. Everything they serve is perfection. You won't be disappointed. This was our first time here and we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Wow! I can see why there are so many 5 star reviews we also had an amazing experience. The restaurant is warmly decorated and the hostess and our servers were very friendly and down to earth which made us feel very comfortable. We were seated right away and didn't wait long wait for our appetizers and entrees to arrive. My wife got the Hawaiian swordfish, I got the petit filet, and my sons got chicken. The flavors were excellent and my filet was perfectly cooked medium rare. For dessert we got a complimentary lava chocolate cake which was a great ending for our first time at this restaurant. Highly recommend!
We had a fabulous celebration last night for my husband's retirement dinner! Our reserved room was perfect with good lighting and space for 26 adults and 4 kids! Thank you to your staff for the great service and delicious food !! Our waitresses Christina and Kylie were wonderful!! Our guests also complemented Christina and Kylie for their friendly service and attention to detail!! Jason helped us with TV, laptop and HDMI connections too for our slide show of photos. Most steak places fall short with the most important menu item the steak. I often find myself thinking “the steak I make at home is better than this.” Not the case for Sutter Street. Amazing! We had a large group and our waiter managed to provide excellent service. Very attentive. All the food came out at once (a challenger for a large group). The one downside (I won’t take a star away) was the chocolate lava cake. The cake was cooked all the way through. No flowy chocolate goodness. A disappointment, but will definitely be returning for date nights in the future despite this.

We went to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The restaurant was unfortunately very chilly when we were seated and so it was uncomfortable for those in the group who didn't have some sort of wrap. We all ordered cocktails before dinner which weren't the greatest, in fact the guys who ordered Martinis both commented they almost tasted watered down and so were disappointed. The steaks were very tasty but the added shrimp were way overcooked and salty. Service was a plus but overall for the price we were disappointed with our experience.
Cool steakhouse with a classic decor, awesome windows letting in a lot of natural light and great food. Would particularly recommend the mole ribeye however I have never had a bad dish here. The sliders are also very good, as is the seafood. Easily one of my top two or three favorite steakhouses in the area.
Overall decent experience. Food was pretty good, but not what you would expect for the price. Steak was decent, but the scallops were overdone. Only 4 scallops for the plate was disappointing. The place itself is pretty nice, but lord were the wine glasses dirty.
5 star experience. I'm usually disappointed by high end places like this but this place exceeded expectations which is saying a lot. The food was incredible and our server was so nice. Will be back and highly recommended.
