Suwanna Restaurant & Inn

Read about this on Trip Advisor when looking for a dinner restaurant. We were travelling through NB and did not know what to expect. The food was, in a word, fantastic. The hot bamboo stir fry was the perfect blend of spices, not too hot, just right. I had to control myself and not lick the plate. I saved this gem to my GPS for the next time we travel through Saint John. Best meal of my vacation. Note: make a reservation. We were fortunate to get there just as they opened at 5:00 pm.

Went here tonight for a birthday dinner. Ordered a Pad Thai and The pineapple chicken. Both delish ! Other dishes ordered by our group were the Coconut chicken ( very strong coconut flavour), Cashew chicken (amazing) and the Matsaman curry(good but not the same taste as last visit).All in all a good meal. Servings are huge and could easily be shared!

I stop by any time I'm in the area. I only wish they were open everyday! I've had similar dishes at other restaurants in Saint John, but they just don't compare. They nail that true Thai 'spicy' that requires kleenex at every table.
