Sushi was very fresh and portion/price was surprisingly good. Takoyaki and Takowasa are also highly recommended if you like them. Will come back to try their grandmakase in the near future. Almost forgotten, service was great! 11/28 Update tried the rams today and it was good, it is not the thick creamy broth you would find at ippudo, but I could just prefer it so. They have updated their menus and prices have risen by 10%, but I will still come. I tried her grandmakase in a previous visit and it was good, very classic for $60.
All about big Japanese restaurant. I have the Unagi Bowl (Eel) and it was excellent. I was looking for a good place to get it, and that was the best by far. 5/5 Food The waiter was quick and friendly. I'm not waiting for service. 5/5 Server The place has a lot of cool photography and art, the wall have really neat designs, and the barstool area you can watch as the boss prepare the roles. Really relaxed and soothing place. 5/5 atmosphere TL;DR great place to eat Japanese food
In a word delicious!! My first time eating here but definitely not my last. Just moved in across the street from Suzuki Shokudo and so happy to have their food at my disposal so conveniently. Excellent service from the dining room attendants, super speedy food out of the kitchen and sushi bar and a very nice conversation with Chef Suzuki! Oh yes and also very fairly priced with excellent quality. Without question my new go to spot!!
the lunch sets are amazing! You can ramen and sushi for $22. You will get to choose the protein of your arms, which was very unique to me (saved tuna, salmon, pig, etc.). I loved the cosiness and mood of the place. the staff is as friendly and there is such a feeling of peace similar to the food in Japan. I would definitely come back! the sushi was very delicious and the fish was high quality.
