We 're continuing our mission to find the best Margherita, Grandma, and Grandpa Pizza in North Jersey! Recently, we gave Suzy 's Tomato Pizzeria in Hewitt, NJ a shot. We ordered the Margherita, a pepperoni, and the Sicilian. No Grandpa or Grandma pizza was on the menu so this rating is really for the Margherita pie. Up first, the pepperoni . Your basic pepperoni pie but we had to knock it down a few points due to the saltiness and greasiness. The crust was fine; it was not overcooked, but the amount of salt is what took away from this pie. The Sicilian. Pretty good. Absolutely. the best. pizza in the opposite. we are pizzasnobs and are drawn a few years ago into the opposite. we are regularly disappointed by the local pizza quality - too whey, too much teig, not enough toppings / topping ratio. we have tried suzys for the first time and what so happy, joyful leaping pizza happiness! excellent crispy tasteful teig, perfect topping to cheese ratio, tasty soße- to a mouthful of water. I love the huge pepper chocolate! and the mushrooms were perfect! not soggy/ can-water water logged tasting, but juicy and earthy. so suzy tomato- my heart is your- we will be back for your delicious cake!

I read, took new people? I'm sad especially because I was looking forward to my favorite spaghetti and sweet sausage. I wish I had written a review earlier. I lived a past “on the mountain” before I moved to oregon. when someone reads this, I was the horse-galle who lived in a low-horse house in the tiny house. the cook and the suppliers were all brilliant to me when I didn't drive and they brought me what I ordered, which sometimes contain a good handful of my favorite monster potion and a gallon milk. This is the first time I’ve been a little disappointed. I ordered a large pie with broccoli, hamburger and onion, and the toppings were really skimpy. It was okay but it could have been so much better if the toppings were more present. Come on guys. Stan Zimmerman Hewitt

I've had some issues with the food and hospitality in the past, but decided to give them another go once I heard there was someone new cooking. We just ordered a couple of plain pies, and they were very good. I recommend giving them a try.

The pizza was a very pleasant surprise. We've lived here for 5 years and never tried it. Their sauce is on the sweeter side, which my wife doesn't prefer, but I thought it was very good.

Average at best , cook is a really nice guy but food mehhhhh..... mussels and sauce are the worst around.
