Sweet Mama's - Reserva de mesa

Yummy but casual/home style vibes at Sweet Mamas. In a little historic looking plaza which was lovely to wander and shop after. We headed in a week day for brunch and by noon the place was bustling busy. There's a little ice cream counter up front but we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy because we were so full from lunch. The iced lattes were delish! I had the white chocolate cinnamon which was decadent a friend ordered the caramel graham which was also amazing. So many breakfast and lunch options, so there was something for everyone. The French fries and the sweet potato waffle fries were both yummy! My hubs liked his OMG chicken waffle sandwich and my tuna melt was fresh and so filling...

Few weeks back we tried this place on a lazy Sunday morning for brunch. We were accommodated soon despite there being a waitlist. The service was good, we ordered lattes, they were filling and good, the white chocolate brownie mocha a bit too sweet but I personally loved the chocolate hazelnut latte. Next we ordered veggie avocado burger, California Benny and another sandwich. They tasted decent, the breads seemed a bit dry, the fries were just average. For dessert we ordered ordered funky monkey, which was just decent in quantity and taste. Overall it was an average experience.

Sweet Mama's has locations in Stony Brook and Northport, and the menu is the same at both. The food is absolutely delicious, and they serve breakfast all day long. Their coffee selection is really enjoyable, and they offer a delightful mimosa flight. The service is excellent, and I really appreciate the charming country decor. Additionally, the Stony Brook location features ice cream. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5!

Cute, rustic, homey atmosphere. An ice cream shop is attached to the front of the restaurant. I've been here twice and food was solid but nothing that blew me away. Last time I got the California wrap, just wish it had some more ranch on it. Fast service attentive staff. Would go back to try some more menu items. Quick causal breakfast/lunch place. The servers were so friendly... A little bit of a wait to place order and get check (was not crowded) still a great dining experience,, friendly staff and delicious burgers! Very cool find by Stony-brook University. Portions are very large (come hungry) and the mimosa flight was very tasty. Ice cream deserts are great and there are a ton of options. Staff was very friendly. Only downside is we Appetizer sampler was a bit on the smaller side.Parking: Loads of parking

I asked if they had a kids' cup, and she confirmed they did. However, I received a small cup with a different flavor than what I expected. They charged us the price for a small cup for both, but we ended up with half the amount of ice cream. Food: 1/5.
