This review is for the Newton Center outlet. My craving for a good thin crust pizza was satisfied by the outstanding pizza from this lay back casual takeout restaurant. The staff was very friendly and recommended their best pizza. I ordered the Pesto Splash(pesto sauce, mozzarella, diced tomatoes) with the optional cauliflower crust. It was my 1st time trying the cauliflower crust, which is thin and a bit chewy. It was great. The Newton Center outlet is more of a take-out than a dine-in place with only 2 small tables inside and a small one outside if weather permits. Of course, pizza fresh from the oven would be the best. Enjoy. I love this place.
Flawless! From the crust to the sauce to the cheese, everything is just right. It's such a simple dish, yet many places struggle to get it right, but Sweet Tomatoes nails it! The thin Neapolitan-style crust is light and crispy, the sauce has a perfect sweetness with just the right amount of acidity, and the cheese is absolutely divine. If you're looking for a great pizza, try the cheese pizza—you won’t be disappointed. I usually get take-out and reheat it at home, and it remains perfect after just a few minutes in the toaster.
Fantastic pizza and outstanding staff! It's refreshing to find a place where the team is genuinely eager to help. One staff member went above and beyond to accommodate a casual remark my son made, which was a wonderful surprise. The food was delicious, and the overall service was top-notch. The atmosphere is also lovely, though it is a bit small with only two tables. As for kid-friendliness, the staff was incredibly kind to my son, making it a great experience for families.
Definitely would recommend, ordered a few sandwiches, meatball, and a chicken Parmesan, with a few sodas, delivery was under the 45 minutes stated and the food was the perfect temperature for biting into. The driver was polite, positive and professional with a smile... the price point was more than fair for quality food and service. The person the counter/phone was very helpful patient, and friendly.Two thumbs up ??

The owners of Sweet Tomatoes could not be nicer! They clearly value their customers and only want to provide the best. Their pizza is delicious and what they’re known for, but they have amazing sandwiches too. There are a ton of food options in Newton, but definitely give this place a try!!
This is our local go-to for weeknights, birthdays, etc. It is very good, and the service is friendly. In summer it can be nice to sit at one of the two outdoor tables and have a slice. There are a few indoor seats, but really this is a takeaway place.
It was $29 for a two-topping calzone! The calzones aren't larger than anywhere else, and aside from a thin crust, I didn't find anything all that appealing/different on the pies here. I'd avoid this for another pizza place based on cost alone.
I was disappointed with my sandwich. It only came with two slices of salami, and they forgot to add the provolone cheese. For $14, I expected much more.

This past Sunday was the first time I went there, I had a medium pizza it was so good, hot and fresh. They were very nice. I recommend this place 100
