My sister and I arrived at this Sweetgreen location around 8 PM after our workout class. The server seemed eager to finish up for the night, even though the store doesn’t close until 9 PM. We ordered the Cobb salad, but several key ingredients were missing from the serving trays. Instead of refilling them, the server expected us to accept a partially made salad without avocado and chicken. She also didn’t offer any discount for the incomplete order. I had to ask for a manager, which was disappointing. I’ve visited the Wall Street location in NYC several times, and the experience there is completely different.
The salads are okay, the customer service is terrible. The place was empty aside from one other customer when I stopped by and none of the 4 employees even acknowledged me for a good five minutes (before I up and walked out), despite all of themsocializing with each other, three of them walking right by me, and one of them standing directly in front of me filling thetopping bins. A simple ?sorry for the wait, I?ll be right with you? would have sufficed. I get the impression no manager worksat the store and the employees don?t want to be there. I left and drove to CHOPT. Better salads, better service.
My husband was trying to place his order when the employee seemed unfamiliar with a Caesar salad. At that point, I decided not to order anything due to the unhygienic practices and lack of knowledge. While my husband was paying, I noticed the employee scratching his scalp and pulling at his hair while wearing just a loosely folded bandana, no hair net or cap. He then slid the salad toward us, and we promptly left and threw it in the trash outside the wine store. It’s clear that the staff needs better training in food handling and customer service.
I went into the SwwetGreen at the Scarsdale location this past weekend on Saturday while in New York for vacation.I was very pleased by the service I had from a young lady that was taking care of me.She ensured I left with a smile on my face by giving me great recommendations for my lunch.She was visibly happy and appreciative for simple interactions with everyone on line despite it being the longest line I’ve experienced so early in the morning.Will be going here every time I’m in New York!

Sweetgreen features a clean, minimalist interior and friendly staff. The kale Caesar salad was enjoyable, with the parmesan crisp providing a nice texture. I would have liked more chicken and additional greens at the bottom. The harvest bowl was enhanced by the rice and goat cheese, which added great flavor. Overall, it's a solid spot for salads, though the portions could be larger considering the price. Still, it's great to have this option nearby.
I was really apprehensive about dining here because the reviews were quite negative. However, I've had a positive experience at this location. I often enjoy their salads, and I eat here approximately twice a week. It can get quite busy, and having more staff would definitely improve the service, but that hasn't deterred me from returning.
Quality and service has really declined. There are 5 employees here. No line. And I am waiting here for me order that is now 20 mins late. Employees are more interested in chatting than ensuring orders to out. No sense of urgency. And they charge $50 for 3 salads. Will think twice ordering again.
Sweetgreen is one of my fav restaurants and I was so exited for have, finally, one close to me. But I?m a little disappointed, in all the sweetgreen restaurants that I have been before the bowl is very well served but look at this (photo).

Avoid the Sweetgreen location! I waited 10 minutes while only one employee took orders and the other just wandered around watching the line. To make matters worse, I found a bug in my food. Definitely not what I expected from their menu.
