The Exhausted Parent ice cream they sometimes offer is one of my all-time favorites! I recently went there with some friends to enjoy it, but found a sign on the door saying they were closed even though their hours on Facebook and Google Maps indicated they should be open. That was quite frustrating. The next time I called to verify their hours, the woman who answered the phone wasn't very friendly. I would only recommend going here if you're already in the area; I won’t be making a special trip again.
I visited this restaurant with my fiancé expecting a nice, pleasant experience, but it was far from that. The customer service was disappointing and rude. I don’t expect a forced smile or overly friendly behavior, but it was uncomfortable when I greeted the cashier with “How are you?” and was completely ignored. Instead, they just asked me, “What do you want?” The ice cream was good, and I always like to support local businesses when I can, but GP Sweeties clearly doesn’t value its customers.
This is a great establishment. The store is fun and eclectic and appeals to both adults and children. Everything we've tried has been a hit. Neither my children nor I have ever felt disrespected or ignored in this establishment, to the contrary, we have always felt welcomed and appreciated with every visit and the kids always want to come back. They serve excellent products with a smile and a winning attitude.
This was my first visit to the shop. A staff member mentioned the most popular flavor, which had "Whiskey" in its name, though I can't recall the exact name. I decided to sit outside, and I must say, WOW, this flavor is absolutely amazing! I think I've found my new favorite. She also mentioned that they frequently run out of it. Reserva una mesa ahora
Wonderful establishment and excellent product...I had the pleasure of being served by a friendly employee who welcomed me and provided superb service. As a resident of GPP over the last 17 years this is the type of service that I’ve come to expect and have always received from all 5 Grosse pointe community establishments.
I’m trying to get some answers from the owners because some people posted that they were denied service and they were black .. yet a white couple entered the location and were served .. they arrived at 647 pm the same time . Are we truly facing this with your business too !!!
