Ordered take out on weekends. Chicken, fries, soup, salad, desert. Chicken good, tasty. Fries I wouldn't offered it to enemy. Low quality and poorly cooked. Soup OK, nothing special. Salad tiny portion. Desert seems to be on a cheap side quality wise (something you get pre packaged from low cost food vendors) We rarely going to Swiss Chalet and it was mostly due to our old, retired, friend preference to order food from there. I remember good old days that portions were bigger and food was better quality. I heard that in many places food quality depend on franchise owners. May be were we unlucky, but I won't give it a second chance.
Awful service from the server at lunch today and all other days we come to this place. Asked for extra sauce as it got cold and they refused to offer a replacement. Asked for the manager, and Basa the manager, told us we cannot be pleased. Several other customers got their orders messed up too at the same time. NEVER RETURNING TO THIS DUMP AGAIN. Very bad disrespectful and slow service. Please go to McCowan and Hwy 7 at Markville Mall if you want a great hassle free experience. Spend your money somewhere else. These people are rude. Server and manager are consistently rude need serious customer service training.
We were a party of 5 that came in at around 430 yesterday. Three of us ordered festive specials, but none of us got the scratch cards or chocolate that comes with the meal, and we’re told they were not available. But we still were expected to pay festive special prices! Absolute scam and terrible experience, it makes you wonder where else this location is cutting corners.
The food at this restaurant is always delicious. Every dish was served hot and fresh. It was more crowded than my previous visits, but thankfully there were two servers working who were both friendly and efficient.

The service was excellent and our server, Anna, made us feel right at home. The food was satisfactory, but we were there during off-peak hours so I can't complain. We will definitely be returning.
As usual, we had a wonderful dining experience! We sampled three different dishes from the Festive Specials menu and they were all delicious.
This Swiss Chalet is exceptional.Bassi, Anna and Andrea offer amazing guest experience!!Keep up the great service.
The food tastes like every other Swiss chalet. They close the restaurant at 9 but it says it closes at 10.
