Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Went for supper last night along with 2 other couples. We waited for about 30 minutes for our food. When it arrived 2 of us had ordered baked potatoes which were cold. The others had French fries which were barely warm. We sent back the potatoes but when they were brought back were only minimally warmer. The waitress didn't seem to want to hear our concerns. The chicken dinners were OK, but 2 people ordered the ribs which were very dry. The dipping sauce came much later and was also cold. There was a manager wandering around but he certainly didn't come near to us. So disappointing, will never go back to this location. Love Swiss Chalet so most disappointed in the Bowmanville location.

Weather was getting worse, so we decided to stop for a late lunch and break in hopes the weather might get better. Entered and seated right away and a smiling, friendlyface greeted us..Amanda, a ray of sunshine on a bleak day. She brought our coffee right away and then was off with our lunch order. She welcomed us to the restaurant and hoped our day had been a good one. Meal was hot and arrived quickly after she had taken our order, she checked several times to see if all was OK. Amanda was a refreshing presence on a blustery day. Thank you for the great service.

We eat at this Swiss once a week; their festive dinner special has now started for the xmas season; Susan the General Mgr. is social, friendly and customer accommodating. The waitresses are attentive, quick and love working there. We feel very welcome here.The chicken is always juicy and the slow-cooked ribs fall off the bone. We have not tried the beef yet, but from what we hear, it is plentiful and delicious. Whether looking locally or travelling through town, stop in, you will not be disappointed. 10 out 10.

I've eaten at this location a few times. The staff has always been good and the service very prompt. The food is the standard fare for the chain with no issues. I just wish all other locations of Swiss Chalet could be like this one. We'll done!

This is the best Swiss Chalet location in my opinion. The food is always super fresh and at lunch it is served very fast!!!! I always have a white 1/4 chicken with salad and Chalet dressing which is great!
