Half rack ribs originally came to table as if it was left in fridge, ice cold. Replacement came out 48 mins after we arrived. These ribs were warm but only consisted of 5 skimp ribs.. I originally ordered mash but was told there was a 30 min delay, So I ordered fries, server didn't tell me I would be waiting well over 49 mins for meal either way.No bun and no coleslaw. Kids pasta came with "stemmed veggies" that were limp and had scattered brown spots, if I was a betting person I would say these veggies came straight out of microwave. I took my friend to the Swiss Chalet for lunch at this restaurant and after we submitted our order we had to wait almost half an hour before we were served. It wouldn't have mattered so much but I had a dental appointment to catch and after that my friend had to catch a flight to Montreal. Well, I had to gulp down my lunch and leave my friend behind to eat her dinner alone. When the food finally came the waitress "threw" the dishes on the table . My friend didn't get the sauce that comes with the dinner, and when she reminded the waitress ,the waitress spun around on her heel and went to the kitchen, got the sauce and practically threw that on the table as well. We went here for an early New Years supper place was not busy.....I decided to try the new beef on the menu my wife went with a rib and wing combo.after a significant wait a plate was brought to me with uncooked vegetables dried up fries and cold beef....meanwhile my wife was still waiting !I caught the servers eye and told her about the condition of the foodShe brought it back to kitchen apologized and eventually brought our meals as ordered piping hot.managment needs to ensure the servers are well trained or they will loose customers.our server did not charge me for my meal which I appreciated and will return ...remember one chance to make a first impression !!!!
Not a whole lot to complain about. The service was good. The chicken is tender and the chips are a bit over cooked but alright. The ribs where a bit dry even with bbq sauce on it. I guess this just seems silly cause you can buy a rotisserie chicken from sobey, for 10 bucks and cook up some chips and it would be just as good but you would be able to not burn ur chips. It's nothing amazing it's noisy and the booths to me seem a bit small there's no where to put ur jackets. So 3 is all they get it is alright. I only ate here cause it was someone in the family that picked it.

We all met here for supper Mothers Day evening. It was a nice atmosphere with many families enjoying their meals on a nice Mothers Day. Server was attentive and friendly. Kept up on our drinks and waited patiently while we took our time deciding on our meals. We had the spinach dip to start and I had the 1/4 chicken and ribs combo. AllThe food was great and hot. It was a pleasant meal and nicer then other Swiss Chalets that I have visited.
I shared the spinach do and honey garlic wings with a friend. Both were scrumptious. I tali like the atmosphere of this location. Very friendly staff to.
Always a guaranteed good meal. Never have I not enjoyed the ribs of Chicken. Ideal spot for a family on a budget!! very friendly staff and good service.
Food was delicious and service very fast. The restaurant is very cold so dress warmly. The chicken dinner is really a great value and so tasty.

Visited many swiss chalet locations, by far this has to be my favourite! Very friendly staff, love the menu, super quick every time!
