I like the decor and menus that brand these franchises. I've also enjoyed great meals at other locations but not here in Stouffville.Before ordering we were assured they had maple syrup and were promptly disappointed when the French toast arrived with the suggestion that corn 'table' syrup was just as good. Hmmm. We ate it dry.I ordered eggs Benedict 'Benjamin' meaning it had smoked salmon. I couldn't eat the salmon for the edgy smell and the eggs had indeed been perfect if I had been there an hour earlier. Hmmm. I had toast.We won't be back.
We've been to a number of these franchises for breakfast and enjoy the themed decor and the wonderful menu.Service was good and the food was as it should be. Nevertheless, although I'm not price sensitive I do note they cost 30% more than others in town. On the upside they may be the only place in town that serves a great cappuccino! :)We'll be back... just not as often.
Thanks to a recommendation , my friend and I dropped into Symposium for lunch. We were warmly greeted and had great service. The high ceilings and fascinating wall paintings of bible stories enhanced the décor. The menu had an interesting variety of choices and we enjoyed our lunches. We stayed and chatted for 2 hours and will return.
Sorry, but we had a terrible meal here. we have been a few times, and the meals have never been fantastic. It took well over an hour for our meals to arrive only to have them arrive cold. The staff are really nice though.

We had excellent and attentive service and a great lunch from Crystal and everyone there in under 2 hours in between two basketball games. Everything went very smoothly!! Great value on the kids meals. Thanks so much!!
this is one of the best restaurants ive ever been too, The Wings, The Mushroom burger, vegetarian pad thai, is very good The menu is three pages long and there is one page dedicated to all sorts of drink,
I found the place expensive for what is on offer. No craft beer on tap and wine was expensive. Better for lunch than dinner. Parking is shared with No Frills and a bank and is crowded at busy times.
We have tried three symposiums and everyone of them has impressed us. We like Stoufvilles the best so far due to the service from our waiter and a nicer atmosphere

Cozy spot on main street Stouffville. Excellent service. Great traditional breakfast menu. Other dishes are average. Nothing fancy, just comfortable eating.
