Every single time I've gone here for the buffet (many, many times over the course of 20+ years), the buffet has never changed. Because it doesn't have to. It works. And you just don't change what works. The food is great, the staff is super friendly. There are a few more items added to the buffet on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so if you want even more variety, go there on a weekend. Buffet starts at 4:30 each day, and runs until 8:30(?) or so. They are pretty flexible if there are lots of folks eating still. Highly recommended place to eat for Chinese food in the city. I haven't found a better place yet. Very family friendly!
we tried szechuan paramount for the first time. it will be our new “go-to” for Chinese food! we ordered the dinner for 2 and were pleasantly surprised that it came with rice and spring rolls, and that the portions were huge! it was also delicious! my man can't have certain vegetables because crohn's disease. they followed our question, no vegetables/garish with the crooked and even an additional note that warned us that the sweet in the early roll. it probably only took a few seconds, but it felt like they went over and over. I was especially happy because it meant that I could eat the early rolls for myself!
We visited the Szechuen Paramount on Sunday March 18, 2012. We were having dinner with my 12 year old daughter and my parents. The restaurant was fairly crowded when we arrived, which to me is always a good sign. We were seated promptly. Service was fast and attentive, my water glass was never empty. We all chose the buffet. Huge selection, food was hot, and fresh. The shrimp were amazing.Small selection of desserts, but we were so full, it was fine.
I ordered from here in the past and it was good, but yesterday eating was a big disappointment. eating was neither fresh nor hot and tasted like leftovers. the garnels were greedy with too much diligent. the rice was boiled and granular. the ginger beef was overcooked and chewing. mixed green with bark was not fresh. taohun was overboiled, chew and tasted not like hawn. lemon chicken was greedy. sweet and acidic pork was ok.

shrimp was boiled with a funny taste (black bean shrimp)Bbq pork was over boiled and drychop suey had zero taste and was predominant bonsprossen much better possibilities for restaurants in this city
absolutely disgusting. the deep fried garnels ordered. I've ordered sp in the last 7 years. in general, eating is in order, but that was from the ordinary. I wouldn't get rid of this place.
Great portion sizes for price and enjoyable dishes all around : A regular place Iike to frequent.P.S you really need to try from the authentic menu ?!
Been there many times and will be there again. 7/10 for the food 9/10 on service. Good food at a good price. Service is friendly and appretiative.

So far have only had fried rice. I have been looking for good fried rice for years. I can't wait to try more dishes!
