We were in search of a place that serves Chongqing-style chicken after Spicy Home suddenly closed due to plumbing issues and Spicy Impression was too busy to handle to-go orders. While browsing Yelp, we stumbled upon Szechuan Tasty, a restaurant we didn't even know was nearby. We ordered two servings of Szechuan fried chicken and some crispy intestines for takeout. I used to really love this place, but not anymore. We always ordered the egg yolk pumpkin and the cumin lamb when we visited, but both dishes tasted different this time and just weren't as enjoyable. I also noticed that the restaurant's English name and menu have changed, which makes me wonder if there have been changes in ownership or the kitchen staff. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
The reception and service from the waitress were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent, really showcasing the authentic flavors of Szechuan cuisine. I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates the intricate tastes of Szechuan dishes; just be aware that many people might primarily notice the heat and spiciness.

I’m not usually particular about food, but this dish tasted more like pork bacon than beef. The soup was quite bland and lacked the authentic Sichuan flavor. I did pay for my meal, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Just wanted to share my honest feedback. I’m not generally a picky eater. Wishing you all the best!
Szechuan Tasty is one of the rare restaurants where you can enjoy dishes featuring duck blood. Their Mao Xue Wang is outstanding, and the spicy soup with frog legs is equally flavorful. The menu offers a great variety of authentic options worth trying.
The food quality overall was good, but didn’t taste as good as last visit- the spicy fish filet with green chili taste totally different. The next day I went to bathroom more frequently due to the greasy spicy food I had ???
It’s ok if you just look for some Chinese food but if you want to get decent one it’s not the spot you want to go. I ordered four dishes and left with a stomach in the pm

I ordered food from Szechuan Tasty yesterday and found a fly in my dish! It was incredibly disgusting, and I almost finished eating before I noticed.
