I had been eagerly anticipating my visit to this restaurant specifically to try it out. Upon arrival, I was the only customer there, surrounded by numerous staff who were all chatting happily amongst themselves. Despite the fabulous-looking menu, none of the staff seemed interested in taking my order when I approached the counter. I was told to sit down and that they would come to me. As I waited, the place started to fill up with other patrons. Eventually, someone came to take my order and explained that the staff had been chatting because the coffee machine was not working. Visited twice for breakfast when visiting for a wedding for breakfast rolls. It’s not clear on the menu but they can put anything in a roll and even had square sausage which was an extra treat. The tea is loose leaf and the coffees were excellent (so my other half tells me). We even treated ourselves to a big slice of Victoria sponge which was devine. Only downside is once taking your initial order, you won’t have a waitress come to your table again so you have to pop to the kitchen at the back to order more and ask to settle the bill.

If you are ever in Galashiels and in need of a boostGo along to T 4 2 restaurant where you can have great plates of food ,snacks and great coffeeBut the creme de la creme is the chocolate fudge cake seved with warm cream and a strawberry It is to die for I can`t pass the place without buying!!!!!All served with lovely caring people

We stopped here for tea and cake after exploring on the Borders Railway. Nice to see lots of varieties of loose leaf tea on the menu. Homemade mince pies and cakes on offer as well as hot and cold food. We did not have a meal but the ones leaving the kitchen looked delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a delightful experience enjoying delicious tray bakes, scones, and hot drinks from this restaurant as a takeaway. Everything was freshly made and homemade, ensuring a high level of quality. The staff were also very attentive and helpful.

Had a wee trip down the Borders today a nipped in for some lunch. The young lady serving was very pleasant. The food was delicious, ordered soup and panini and was very tasty.

This is a lovely clean cafe Good menu for a meal and fantastic home baking scones, cakes and more. Table serves is a lovely touch. Highly recommend A Reserva una mesa ahora
