This was embarrassingly bad. Who f$&ks up a grilled cheese?!?!? I had a taste for a good grilled cheese. Online and on the menu it sounds delish, but apparently they must have teenagers manning the grill because this is an epic fail!!!! The glob on the plate in the pic is the cheese I scraped off. It appears they use that nacho cheese that's not real cheese in the first place(more like petroleum), the kind you pour on nachos. Damn!!!! Not to mention grilled cheese 101: toast the bread to a nice golden color. My husband ordered a hot dog. For $9. he got a hot dog and bun?!?!?!? We're in Chicago!!!! Onions, tomatoes, relish, pickle, sport peppers, celery salt.....it says it on the menu. But ag...
Very nice set up, I stumbled upon this place when I was looking up somewhere to watch the ufc fight while I was in town this weekend. They have a lot of TV's here, there's even two flat screens in the men's room, great selection of beers on tap bottle, a full food menu (the hot wings are really good) and the waitress are attentive. I was shocked which I saw a pitcher a beer was only 7-9 dollar it reminded me how overpriced stuff in California is. Overall it's a great bar inside, you might miss this place on the outside or not even know a bar is here because the sign is kind of small, the only thing that put me off was the bouncer had a hard time reading my California ID, my cousins Georgia I...
Giving this four stars because I absolutely LOVE big joes backyard bbq and love supporting joe. He consistently puts out amazing food and I'm excited he's closer to home now. Lost a star because service from bartending staff can use a little work. Came on chip night and it took a while to order my food, never came back to check how it tasted, and never received a chip. Joe shouldn't have to be coming out to do the extra steps of service that front of house should be hitting. Wasn't terrible service, but can use some tweaks to be better and more attentive. There is always room for improvement. Food is amazing though and will keep me coming back when I have time!
I visited TC Pub to celebrate the 244th Marine Corps Birthday. The staff did a fantastic job organizing the party, with $4 16-ounce drink specials, live music performing the Marine anthem, and a cake. I appreciate the effort they made to make the day special for all the marines and their families. I also had luck winning money at their slot machines! The restaurant has ample parking and a friendly staff. However, I cannot speak to the typical atmosphere of the restaurant as this was an event. Went for the taco but i didn't do enough research to find out it was only for Tuesdays, my boyfriend and i both got the pulled pork sandwiches with fries and their mac cheese. Let me tell you pulled pork sandwiches is one of my favorite things to eat and this is now going to be my favorite place to go for it. Amazing portions, great flavors. I can't wait to tast these tacos because they look amazing! Definitely coming back, probably on a Tuesday! Haha
I won't be coming back to this place. I'm losing my ASS on their slot machines/video poker machines and the bartender comes up and says we're closing early tonight. Place shouldn't advertise open till 200a.m if they are gonna close half hour to an hour early because the bartender isn't making enough money. Don't have the slot machines if your not gonna stay open until the listed time!!!!
I stopped by to check out the new Chef Adele and was pleasantly surprised with not only the delicious food but also the amazing bartender Felicia. The bar was fantastic! If you're ever in the area, make sure to ask for Chef Adele to see what creations he's cooking up in the kitchen - you won't be disappointed. And if Felicia is behind the bar, you're sure to have a great time!
Cheap beer and decent food. 3.5-4 stars. I went on a Tuesday and got their quesadilla style barbacoa tacos and it was better than I expected. Sauces that came with it were good. One comment, the normal fries were a bit plain. Everything else was fine. Reserva una mesa ahora
