Taberna Do Pita - Reserva de mesa

We arrived a bit after lunchtime and the place looked closed other than the fact that the door was ajar. We walked in and met the chef. He proceeded to tell us what he had available and then cooked us a delicious meal. The green soup and dogfish soup were wonderful as was the pork lizards, which as far as we could figure out was rib meat. The meal came with tomato/onion salad, fries, bread, and cheese. With drinks, the meal for two cost €28.

Very warm and rustic ambience of a real Évora Taverne. The hospitable service of a man offers fresh daily specialties of the genuine Alentejo cuisine for Alentejanos. Fine portions, fresh red wine to drink as much as your thirst. Value for money and just your table while in Évora.

Very secret, beautiful place for dinner. The rotating menu has only three dishes at a time, but definitely made with love. A man leads all the place, cooking and serving. It takes some time to prepare the food so come when you can relax and have a nice meal.
