Taberna O Puntal - Reservar una mesa

Decir por delante que nos encanta comer/cenar aquí en cualquier época del año. Desde hace muchos años somos fans da Taberna do Puntal. Pero, quizá porque es agosto y están hasta arriba de gente, no quedamos tan contentos como otras veces. Comimos cachopo y no nos gustó mucho, estaba duro, nada que ver con los buenos cachopos asturianos. Nos quedamos con la duda de por qué no cocinarán cordon blue y sí cachopo. También comimos rape y fue otra decepción. Estaba bastante seco y era congelado entiendo que no siempre será posible tenerlo fresco). Teníamos el recuerdo de otra ocasión que pedimos rape y estaba extraordinario, fresquísimo y la salsa mucho más rica. Por último decir que podrían poner...

This restaurant is in a beautiful location outside of Cedeira in the direction of Pantin. It is a bit hidden in O Puntil (just after a bridge) but well worth the find. It has nice terrace outside seating and lots of seating indoors to accommodate large groups. We were a group of twenty for lunch. Recommended tapas try the barnacles (but have someone show you how to eat them). Their clams are amazing. Also, octopus was great. The calamari were a bit disappointing (small rings and a little rubbery) but we still ordered seconds.

It isn't really terribly difficult, just persist because for what it is, it's a real treat. We've been in Cedeira for 5 days and have been three times and will certainly go again at least once. There's nothing particularly remarkable about the place but it's so cozy, the owners so amiable, the food simple but so very fresh and good. Everything we have had there has been delicious! The best fresh shellfish and great wine selection. Pepe is a delight and most helpful in guiding you through the fairly extensive wine list.

Mis padres son de cedeira y nunca hemos estado para comer aquí, así que un día decidimos quitarnos la columna. ha cambiado de dueños y además de tener las cosas más típicas tienen un poco más elaborado y platos especiales. Todo lo que pedimos fue bastante rico, se ve que tratan las materias primas con afecto. el lugar es un poco lúcido, pero también lo hace acogedor. Estaremos a salvo.

Solíamos ir mucho al Puntal, donde el precio era bueno y la comida excelente. Hemos notado que la calidad ha disminuido recientemente y ha aumentado el precio. Recomendaríamos el restaurante O Castro como una mejor opción (en Pantin, justo en el camino hacia Valdoviño).

This one is a gem. Friendly service, great food and a nice selection of wine. The potato tortilla is a must, amazing! Furthermore do try the cockles and the marinated clams super fresh and has come nowhere near the fryer.

¡Siempre es una maravilla! No importa cuánto tiempo pase sin ir y quién de la familia lo organice... siempre recibimos un trato excelente y una comida deliciosa. Gracias por seguir así.

Este restaurante es nuestro favorito del verano y, además, han vuelto a ofrecer su excelente tortilla (previa reserva). El resto sigue estando igual de bueno que siempre.

we were referred by a friend. This place was absolutely fabulous! The scallops were amazing!!! Pepe is awesome!!
