Very nice historic hotel. Area seems pretty rundown. I walked to the river front park. Not many restaurants Open in the area. Parking situation is a little odd. Have to park in a garage next door taking an elevator up. Seemed sketchy after dark. Then go down a flight of stairs because the next elevator was not working. Pool did not look clean and hot tub was, surrounded by yellow tape. Staff were very helpful polite though.

Went to the Thanksgiving Buffet in the Ballroom. It did not disappoint. Service was good. Selection of food offered was excellent and everything we had was delicious. They do a great job of keeping the food replenished and the serving areas clean. Definitely recommend.

The steak was delicious, even more impressive that it was essentially a hotel restaurant! There was some nearby events and weddings and the hotel didn’t have rooms reach for guests so it was really busy. The service was a little slow but friendly

If you stick to burgers, fries and beers, then you will be okay but don't stray into pastas or steaks beware! Kitchen is not up to anything beyond the very basic burger. Staff were fantastic desserts, too!

Our king suite is very comfortable, spacious, quiet, clean, and in good repair. We loved the location, a 3 block easy walk to the river and a short drive to BU, and shopping.
