Table Talk is one of my favorite restaurants in Alexandria for breakfast. Their French toast is off the chain. What dreams are made of. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and will tell you that it seems to me that as the day goes on, quality goes down. Breakfast is 100+ five thousand stars. Lunch is good and hearty quality food—but not super remarkable. I’ve only eaten dinner there twice and I wasn’t super impressed. I wasn’t disgusted but I didn’t feel like it was worth what they charge for dinner. Just not great. Stick to breakfast or lunch there and you’ll never regret it. This is the best spot for breakfast! The food is amazing and incredibly affordable. The French toast is to die for, and the biscuits and gravy have a delightful hint of spice. I’m not sure where they get their strawberries, but they are always fresh and of excellent quality. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the ambiance is charming and inviting. I've visited more times than I can count, both with friends and alone to enjoy a nice meal, coffee, and a good book.
Happening place to have a breakfast. Staff was very friendly and polite. Place was clean. We tried Garbage Omelette which came with toast, omelette and boiled potatoes and it was tasty. They dont add much salt in the food, it had to be added separately. Coffee was also refreshing
My wife ordered the eggs Benedict with crab cakes, and I had the New York steak and eggs. Both dishes were expertly seasoned, and the breakfast potatoes were a great complement. The New York strip was cooked just as I wanted. My wife particularly enjoyed the crab cakes.

First off, the food was tasty. Attention to detail was lacking. My eggs were overcooked in my eggs Benedict. My friend didn't receive toast and chips with their meal and had to ask for them. My wife also asked for gravy on the side of her open faced sandwich.
In Alexandria today with the Crane crew. Got to try out Table Talk Restaurants Coffee and Home fries. All Good. They were very busy and got me squared away quickly. Nice Cozy Bar/ Diner feel here. Enjoy!
The food was absolutely delicious. The bacon was cooked to my liking, and the grits were wonderful. The restaurant also has a beautiful ambiance!
First time ever coming here. Definitely will be coming back. The garbage omelette was good. But the home fried potatoes was the absolute best!!

Good breakfast spot. Quite busy. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server, Gloria was great. Prices are quite reasonable.
Excellent food at very fair prices. To have some of the best French toast.
