I purchased 7 items from Taco Bell’s online menu and picked them up in-store. The store manager, a female staff member, assisted me. I clearly mentioned my order was for 7 items, but she said something was missing when checking with her staff. After she corrected it, I assumed everything was in my two bags. I ordered three Beefy 5-Layer Burritos, one with beans and two without. When I mentioned the mix-up to the cook, she insisted that they had only made three and that two were without beans, arguing with another staff member about it. She didn’t apologize or offer to replace the order; she just continued with her tasks. When I finally got my replacement, it was incorrect. While I was eating, another customer walked in to place an order, but instead of being served, he was directed to use the self-order kiosk. I just ordered from there, and the food was cold. You could tell the staff knew it was cold by the expressions on their faces right before they handed me my meal; they simply seemed too lazy to prepare fresh food. I ended up throwing it away and going somewhere else. This location really needs to hire people with a better work ethic.
My experience at Taco Bell was disappointing. They didn’t give me any napkins or hot sauce, and my order got mixed up since they were handling several drive-thru orders simultaneously. The food arrived cold, and my burrito had barely any meat—just a tiny amount. All I could really taste was the tortilla.
