Taco Del Mar - Reserva de mesa

Every year, for the past decade, the "Taco Del Mar" in Port Coquitlam celebrates Cinco de Mayo in a unique way. On May 5th, the date is marked in honor of the Mexican Army's triumph over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. Many Mexican restaurants use this day to share their culture through their food, and at the "Taco Del Mar" in Port Coquitlam, they host the annual "5-Pounder Burrito Eating Challenge", exclusive to this location. This amateur eating competition will celebrate its 10th year in 2018.

Whenever I am out running errands in PoCO I always pick up tacos on my way home. There are not a lot of Taco Del Mar locations left and I don't know why not. They make some really good fast food! Everyday there are specials but I usually get the two taco combo. Lots of choices of toppings and fresh ingredients. They don't skimp on the toppings, these tacos are loaded! Friendly service, fresh and tasty fast food!

This restaurant deserves a higher rating. Taco Del Mar is amazing. Despite possibly being short-staffed, their food is excellent. I especially enjoy their Mondo Burrito with either beef or chicken. My husband and I will definitely continue to frequent this establishment.

If you've been to Mexico, you will be disappointed. However, Port Coquitlam is not Baja! This is more fast foodish, so no 4 stars. The Alaskan Fish Tacos were excellent for the price, and the service is excellent. The place is not so bad too eat in as well. Reserva una mesa ahora

Good canadian mexican food. We like their mondo burritos and fish tacos. My son can't eat here often enough. The staff are nice and attentive too.

not a bad place for some Mexican food, just it does not compare with Mucho burrito, staff seem uninterested and food is average at best
