Five years ago I gave this place a 5-star rating. It has dropped to one star because the last few times we've gone they've messed up our order... but this last time, we got tacos with meat that was like 65 degrees! We measured it with a thermometer, but I can't remember the exact number.It was nowhere near warm. I think maybe one person took it out of the fridge, then it sat there a while, and someone else thought it had been heated? I don't know, but they told us they'd send a refund, but seemed to think we were lying to get free food (which we weren't). We never received a refund, and we'll never recommend Taco Johns to anyone ever again.
I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly, but the burritos I received were among the worst I've ever encountered. It seemed like the food was overlooked and simply rewrapped in a new tortilla. I ended up spending over $15 for two of these subpar burritos, which was really frustrating.
I've visited this place numerous times, but lately, the experience has been disappointing. The wait in the drive-thru has become unbearable; one day, we even had to go around another car and onto the curb just to get out because we couldn’t wait any longer. We were just trying to order some tacos, nothing outrageous.
This place has really improved. From ordering in the drive through (individualized reply to my order by an articulate employee, to quickly filling my order, to a very pleasant interaction at the window, to higher quality food, I'm impressed! Way to go.

I was served a taco that was completely ice cold. At first, I thought it might just be the freezing lettuce and sour cream, but unfortunately, the meat was cold, too. Now, I'm feeling really unwell after eating here.
Terrible, the slacker taking orders had no manners at all, they had no nacho chips for their holiday nachos, were also out of two other items I tried to order, but the guy at the window, OMG.
Always fresh, always friendly, always quick, and always very clean and tidy.
Take out had nothing on it,soft or hard will not go
