I recently left my job at Taco Time after working there for barely 2 1/2 weeks. After this experience I will never work for a franchise again, I can 't believe how little the owners care about their staff, and the extremes they are willing to go to make money. The owners had us working in weather extremes ranging from 100-120 degrees during the heat wave, and in that time, they lost all 5 of their supervisors. When asked about the ac, we were lied to and told that it was working. It 's a fact that this is false, because a week later we had a professional fixing the ac, only after having Osha called on our store multiple times. I worked here for almost a year, and throughout the whole time I worked here the store proceeded to go downhill. The owners, specifically Paige, does not care about her employees and only cares about the money. The working conditions were awful, during a heat wave we were forced to work in temperatures from 100-120 degrees, and because of this treatment they lost 5 of their supervisors, including me. The managers, Zach and Carrie seem to be the only people who care about their employees. This place needs some serious work and the owners need to rethink how they run they're business, there's a reason why they lose and will continue to lose all their good employees.
The food is decent, but the service here is incredibly slow. It took 15 minutes to get through the drive-thru, and there were only two cars ahead of me. The cashier struggled to scan my payment app, trying about 20 times without success. She also didn’t seem to know which order was mine and ended up repeating two different commands before finally locating it, even though the system should be straightforward. How can they mess this up? This isn’t an isolated incident; every time I visit, the service is just as frustrating.
I've been here for years, but that could be the last time. for the second time in a row it almost helped to go through the drive-thru an hour. half an hour at a quick meal. if they struggle with mathematics, this is an hour of my life that I spent for eating taco time. I'm not normal that I complain, but that's ridiculous. how on earth can tacos and burritos last long? oh, and finally they have forgotten the hot sauce. once again, as they say, once is random, twice is falling. next time, it's a hostile act. I'm done. I've stopped going to the LC TT location because they never got my order right. The Kenmore location is just as disappointing. I could overlook the long wait in the drive-thru with two cars ahead of me if the food was actually what I ordered and cooked properly. I asked for a Baja taco but received a fish burrito instead. There was fish in only a third of the burrito; the rest was just cabbage wrapped in a flour tortilla. Whoever made it had to realize it was a poor excuse for a burrito.
Ugh. I go out of my way to avoid this Taco Time location because they're slow, have poor service, and it's not very clean. Unfortunately I made the mistake of trying them again today and they of course didn't fail to disappoint. Long wait with very few customers, still not clean, and part of my order missing (that of course I didn't notice until I got home). Go to Totem Lake or Woodinville or any other location but this one
