I found this place by accident. And by that, I mean it's hidden in a hole in the wall in Hawaiian Gardens strip mall behind a liquor store. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, new in every aspect, the kitchen is new, stainless steel, the floor, the walls, the decor and furniture are new and well kept.The food: best meat ever! We arrived well before the posted closing time and were puzzled to find the tables and chairs stacked away, almost as if the restaurant were closed. Given that it was a Saturday, this didn’t make much sense. There were only two staff members working, so we had to set up our own chairs and rearrange a few tables. We ordered tacos and mulitas, and the tacos de asada were delicious! However, it took a while for our food to be ready, likely due to the short staffing. First time here and glad we stopped! All the food was really good. A lot of detail and love put into it. We got the beef mulita, tacos, and mango ceviche which was SOOOOO GOOD!!! really nice owner and staff as well. I wish this place was closer to where I live because I'd come all the time. Excellent food and outstanding service! Everything is fresh and delicious. This is a wonderful spot to dine. The ambiance is lovely, enhanced by the pleasant music and efficient air conditioning. It's a great place to visit for the first time, and one that you'll want to return to!

Went back again today. They're adding items to the menu and today I tried the ceviche. Very fresh, super tasty and as always, very friendly. Had some super spicy chili on the side. So good.The pastor taco was great too.Highly recommend this place.

I read reviews indicating that they might be closed during operating hours, so I decided to arrive 30 minutes before closing time. However, showing up at 6:45 PM on Taco Tuesday and finding them closed is just unacceptable.
