Tacos El Chaparrito

Ordered the 8 Pack taco tray (4 fish, 2 al pastor, 2 asada) and a regular cup of horchata. The fish were good sized pieces, very meaty and good amount of greens added. The sour cream is a good amount that doesn't overpower but does enough to wet the taco. The al pastor tacos were well portioned too, would definitely recommend squeezing some lime on top for a kick. The asada tacos were pleasant too. At the end of the meal we preferred the fish ones the best. Add lime, the chili sauce, and take a bite of the grilled pepper for an extra spicy kick if needed because they don't have spice as they are. The horchata was good too and refreshing for those who need something to soothe over adding too...

update: they have reworked everything. self added handout and busy waiter. the cost they display on their menu, however, are not the ones they charge. menu said that their burritos are $6.99 but they loaded $9.99 I didn't feel like confronting them as I understand trying to get this bag. will not come back soon. my family and I'm going all two weeks here. the food here is delish!

Good fish taco spot in El Monte. The fish was big, crunchy and flavorful. The sauce pars really well. They have Ceviche and many other mexican food options. It can be a bit pricey for fish tacos, but it's something to try.

I was at the restaurant earlier and saw a man ordering food without a mask. The staff should not have served him as it is not safe during the Covid pandemic. I will not be returning to that restaurant.

Probably THE best taco shop ever? I had the carne asada taco, burrito and tripas. Holy hell the tripas was memorable. I've had street tacos from Mexico and this is up there with it.
