These tacos were absolutely amazing! I tried the crispy tripe, lengua, and carnitas, and opted for the carnitas in a crunchy American-style taco. It was incredibly crunchy, and I loved the texture—it’s something I haven’t experienced before in Texas. The tripe was cooked to perfection, literally melting in my mouth. The orange sauce was delicious, spicy, and packed with flavor. I can’t wait to come back and explore more items on the menu. My partner had the chicken tacos, which were full of flavor, although they were a bit on the dry side. However, the great taste made it a minor issue. Awarding them 5 stars because the food from here is ALWAYS flavorful and delicious. Eat here often and have tried about 1/3 of the menu thus far. Everything is very good and as near to authentic Mexican food as it gets in our area. Service wise they can be inconsistent (sometimes poor communication over the phone or long waits in the dining room for your order) but all of that is forgotten as soon as you get your food because it puts a smile on your face. Versatiles is hands down the best Mexican food in the Melrose neighborhood (between E.149 and E. 163rd Streets) of the Bronx.
This use to be one of my favorite spots near work. Now they are absolutely horrible. The chicken flautas were disgusting. The chicken you can tell was old and sitting there for quite a while. When I called they said they couldn’t send a fresh order only if we ordered something else (we couldn’t eat it, it was inedible). After waiting for 10 mins on the line and blaring music in the background. They wanted to said the flaulas fresh because we requested a refund. Since they didn’t want to give us a refund we took the flautas for them to AGAIN BE DISGUSTING.
I had the burrito al Pastor, and it was absolutely delicious! It's been quite a while since my last visit, but it was worth it. The service was excellent as well. We also ordered some flautas to take home, and they were tasty. I will definitely return to try the tacos again!

I just got off the phone with them, and they couldn't deliver to me because they claimed they had never heard of my street name. Keep in mind, they never even bothered to look up my address first. This is the worst customer service I've ever encountered.
The food was delicious, but there was an issue with my pick-up order—it was the wrong one. To make matters worse, an hour later, I received a call asking if I was planning to pick up my food. They definitely need to improve their organization.
The food is really good. I order tacos of mexican sausage and the flautas. That is always my go to order. The salsas are spicy but tasty and flavorful. It is good to order in advamce so you dont wait a while.
The food is pretty decent only two issues the waitresses that takes the orders over the phone are very rude. Secondly some dishes come with very little portions for the prices .
