One of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants in the Michiana area is Dos Amigos. The food is always served promptly, and they consistently provide chips and salsa to start. My go-to order is the #1, which comes with three corn tacos, beans, and rice. You can choose from a selection of meats for your tacos, including beef and chicken, but my personal favorite is the chorizo, which comes with a small extra charge. All the dishes are very reasonably priced, ranging from about $5 to $20. The food is consistently warm and fresh, and the owners are incredibly attentive and caring. I barely know where to begin. The staff at this restaurant is incredibly welcoming. Each time I've been there, they greet me with smiles and friendliness. The place is always clean, which enhances the overall experience. And the food—it's amazing! Their steak tacos are some of the best in South Bend! I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10!
