Tacos Selene - Reserva de mesa

I used to work near Tacos Selene and came here all the time for lunch. It is the perfect Mexican restaurant in my eyes...authentic, fairly inexpensive, and and consistently delicious. I 'm annoyed going to Mexican joints around the Denver area where 3 street tacos add up to $15 and they 're just okay . At Tacos Selene, they taste like legit street tacos and only run $1.50 $2 a piece, plus they have a salsa bar to throw whatever you want on your tacos. Their burritos are very filling and pretty tasty, but their Torta Especial was one of my favorites. It 's pretty greasy, so my stomach always had a rough afternoon, but its so good! Tacos and burritos are very good here. It's out of the way in a small strip mall in Aurora. So you might miss it if you are not paying attention. It's definitely a local favorite because as we were sitting there nothing but local Spanish speaking people came in an ordered food. If you want good tacos and burritos this is one place to get them.

Affordable, but it's a no from me dog. Maybe I went on an off day but the tacos weren't great. Tortillas were dry and the fillings were so bland apart from an overabundance of salt. My meal looked nothing like the flavorful pictures I see on other reviews. Maybe I'll try again some time and update.

I had the carne asada tacos, and the tortillas and meat were absolutely delicious at first. The salsa bar offered a great variety of different salsas. On my second and third visits, the food remained good, but there were a few burnt pieces in the meat that took away from the overall experience. Reserva una mesa ahora

The lengua, barbacoa, and carnitas are fantastic! The asada was a bit too tough for my taste, and I've had better al pastor elsewhere, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. However, I still drive 15 minutes out of my way to come here regularly. The prices are also reasonable.

so good! and so much in terms of pricing. we loved their burritos and variations of salsas. in any case a beautiful place to stop for delicious, authentic eating.

Love street tacos!!! The salsa was spicy and delicious. Horchata is my favorite and they have it! I want to go back and try other items on the menu.

Firt time visiting. Tacos adobada, al pastor, and barbacoa. All were absolutely delicious!
