Good, beautiful, and cheap. Six of us ate until we were full for just $94. The food was absolutely incredible! I sat quietly, savoring every bite. The meats are freshly prepared with a great variety and options. The line was always long, but they move quickly. My family is from Mexico City and very particular about Mexican food. My very white husband had six tacos and said they were some of the best he’s ever had. I was so impressed I told the taco guy, “If I could marry again, I’d propose to you,” and my husband said he’d be okay with that if I let him cook tacos too. I live nearby and always see long lines outside Tacos Uziel, so I finally decided to give it a try. First, note that they are cash only, so come prepared. Tuesday nights are especially busy because of a special on their menu that was really good! We ordered about 10 tacos and two mulitas. Overall, the chicken and carne asada stood out as my favorites. The carne asada was incredible—it's been a long time since a taco spot has brought me so much joy with their carne asada. The team at Tacos Uziel works incredibly hard, and I was more than happy to support them. I'll definitely be coming back! I've tried several taco stands in Long Beach, and most were quite basic or mediocre. The asada quesadilla at Tacos Uziel is exceptional and definitely worth trying. I highly recommend it. Keep in mind, they only accept cash—no Zelle or other payment apps, which is a bit inconvenient. This is my current favorite spot. Prices are reasonable, around $12 for a taco and quesadilla.
