In just six days, I ordered the chorizo nachos, and each time they were prepared differently. Today, the nachos were extremely dry and missing basic ingredients like beans. I kindly asked the waiter for just a small portion of queso, less than 1.5 ounces, but he responded with an incredibly rude attitude. He went on to say that there would be an extra charge for the queso, and I agreed, despite the absence of those basic ingredients. Then, as I was writing this review, the waiter approached me and remarked, "Just like you're taking the time to write this review, I hope you're also highlighting the positive aspects." AWFUL !!! Stay away ! Came here a few months ago when they opened , pretty standard experience . Came back and brought out of town friends . Big mistake ! Had a male server thick wanna be muscular dude who had not one hospitable bone in his body . Took drink orders didn?t know what was in the margarita ?????. All the food was strangely soaking wet like dripping ever had a quesadilla that took a bath ? , ordered enchiladas they were more like lasagna in a pool of water . Server never checked on us . We called to order 2 Carne Asada Burritos, Guacs and Chips and Churros. Pull down the block to pick up the order. Everything was ready. Simple peas. Eat home tonite! Your presentation is as sweet as they write cute news on the see thru lid of the article! The Carne Asadas tasted fresh and tasty. We just added a small acid cream. The Guac was crazy and perfect! The chips were also made fresh and delish! Later we split an order of Churros. Loved the condensed milk with them the best! The dark chocolate was too bitter for us. Just a suggestion, Nutella or milk chocolate would be so much better with the Churros. Everything was fine. No problems. We'll be back soon.
I had the breakfast burrito here back in October and it tasted great and was filling. I decided to stop by today to try the tacos and was dissatisfied with the portion size. For $5.50 per taco, I expected them to be a bit larger. The snapper taco was a bit underseasoned and carne asada was seasoned well but overcooked. I would only recommend the burritos here . I?ve came here multiple times. The place is so authentic mexican I love it. The food tastes good, not amazing but its a nice little spot to chill and have more than decent mexican food. The prices have gone up a little but they are still very reasonable. Love the location, you can feel the ocean breeze. They used to have a pet chicken that would hang out outside, shes no longer there, sadly : One of my go to?s for quick, reasonably priced mexican food in the city.
Absolutely excellent meal! I had dinner here and it was worth every penny, with prices ranging from $50 to $100 per person. The food was outstanding, scoring a perfect 5 out of 5, just like the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend the Burrito de Lengua. There is ample parking available, and the best part is that it’s all free!
