We were a group of 5 adults, 2 small children, and a baby. Everyone was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, especially for the children who absolutely loved the creative ice cream! The meal was simply amazing, the best Sunday dinner I've ever had without exaggeration. The pork belly was incredibly delicious - please pass on our compliments to the chef. We are delighted to have such a stylish restaurant in our neighborhood and I can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you!
The dining room at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The staff is friendly and welcoming, especially the lovable owner Margaret. The high quality food is cooked by the brilliant chef Ludo. It feels like home when dining here. I wish them all the best in the future. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back soon!
My family and I tried out Tafarn y Maes for Sunday lunch on February 4th, 2024. Despite not being regulars due to living in a different area, a local friend suggested this place and we were amazed by the experience. It was one of the best Sunday lunches we've ever had - we even licked our plates clean! Thank you, Margaret, for the recommendation!
Called in today for Sunday lunch as visiting family who live locally for a get-together. Very warm welcome from the staff, good menu choice, really nice food, reasonably priced. Great puddings! Having just returned from a week in France and too lazy to cook we arrived as a large party and the food was fabulous, better then most of the food we had last week, well done amazing food and great staff thank you Mags and Co, best Sunday lunch around

the new brunch menu this morning! it was incredible and the free glass of prosecco washes it nicely down! would recommend y maes for a quiet personal meal or a prominent evening meal!
