Tafelsilber - Reservar una mesa

We were a group of 4 on a Saturday night trying to enjoy a friend's birthday. The restaurant wasn't full but we had made reservations anyway. We were served by a young, tall & thin guy, and this is when everything started to go down hill. First, the server started arguing with my pregnant wife about what meats are okay and what she can and cannot eat. I don't even argue with my wife when she's pregnant and hungry so have no idea why this stranger thought it was a good idea to. Next, after a nice 15 min discussion on what she should and shouldn't eat, we ordered our drinks. 1 drink arrived, which the assistant to the waiter immediately asked, ..uhm did anyone else order drinks? Of course we did but the other 3 didn't seem to make it so we repeated our drink order and somewhere between our table and the bar they got mixed up again! Our meals arrived and have to say mine was pretty good, but the night was spoiled by the poor service, but unfortunately it didn't end there. When the waiter came back he wasn't in the best mood as we waited about 30 mins after dinner to ask for the desert menu. In the end, we paid and left. Food: 3 starsService: -3 stars

This restaurant was clearly an old warehouse or train station. The industrial feel is great. The food was really good. The pizzas are really big, salads are huge and the steaks are good too. They do really nice cocktails too. Although this is my first review of this restaurant, I have been many times. It still remains my favourite in dusseldorf.

We had mostly beef for main course. Their meat was very good, tender and well seasoned with fine aromas. They offer you some sauces to put on the meat but even if they are very good they will spoil the flavor and excellent taste of the meat.The potatoes gratin are good too.The dessert are marvelous.

The restaurant has very nice and cosy interior. The food was served quickly and it was tasty but nothing special. The restaurant is suitable also for a quick lunch. The cappuccino was disappointing.

I had grilled dorade with mushrooms and red wine sauce and as a side dish sweet potatoes fries. It was a very good choice, I really enjoyed it, perfect dish for a pleasant evening.
