We stopped into this restaurant for dinner while checking out Offenbach. It sits on a very nice plaza that is surrounded by shops and restaurants. My husband is of German ancestry, so he was happy to find food that looked like the food of his...childhood. We started off with an appetizer of cheese with green sauce. It was delicious. Then for the main course my husband had a dish of rolled beef with potatoes and I had risotto topped with chicken.Our young waitress was young and friendly and frequently checked on us. The dishes were nicely done and tasted great even for a person like me who is not much of a fan of German food. We would definitely stop in again.
Tafelspitz is a regular stop on my travels to the Frankfurt/Offenbach region. It has a lovely terrace, perfect for the warmer days, and has a very courteous and efficient team. Food is consistently good, offering a wide range of dishes throughout the day, good variety...and creativity.
We visited on a Saturday evening with our . We found the service great, the food excellent, the only problem was the portions were huge, so it was a real challenge to finish all the yummy dishes. The bill was 25 euros per person with...a small tip, quite reasonable for dinner.

large German food, had to taste notorious frankfurt, grune sauce. while she is less than appetit, is a wonderful, fresh taste. the service was friendly. we ate outside and the atmosphere above the scenic place as sunset was beautiful. a great place, I would recommend.

Stopped for early dinner had appetizers Camembert in cranberry type mousse and potato soup. Great taste, good service and good music. Recommend if in Offenbach.
