"We frequently visit Germering on business and have made this place a must go to!The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable, the duck with coconut curry sauce (from the Thai set menu) being a personal favourite. Now, let me elaborate of the duck...the meat just falls of the bone, and the sauce is of the perfect consistency! I also highly recommend the satay skewers as a starter and the Thai soup (if you like something on the hot side). It has become a favourite place of ours and we look forward to our next visit."

We've been living in Germering for more than one year and regularly visiting Taisan. Now I'm writing my first review, because I strongly want to encourage people to try it, our favourite Chinese/Asian restaurant in Munich area. Like many other reviewers here, we like the (Mongolia) duck and curry so much. The staff here is very friendly and helpful!! We always ask the waitress or the chef to recommend us something new to try (we don't look at the menu anymore after our first visit), which is always surprisingly good! When I miss a specific Chinese/Cantonese dish, I would visit Taisan and ask the Chef to make it for me! The place is beautiful and prices are reasonable. So we highly recommend Taisan!! Now I switch to Chinese to give my people some suggestions.

I visited this restaurant whilst on business in Germering. It's a little tricky to find - within a small complex of shops/offices and down some stairs, but it's a pretty setting once you find it with fish swimming around the outside of the main stage where most of the tables are.The menu is large but some classics are missing - such as Thai fish cakes and sticky rice (or it could have been lost in translation on the evening we went :) ) The starters were very tasty and my red Thai curry was one of the nicest I've ever had. Prices were reasonable and we had an enjoyable night. Would definitely recommend.

We had diner on the 19th of August at 6:30 pm. Best Asian food experience ever! Yummie! We had a lovely soup and a thai curry and the taste and texture were perfect. Yasmine tea was also very tasty and not too bitter, just lovely. Also a very friendly hostess. The place is a little hard to find; it is hidden at the end of a little shopping centre. Turn left into the gluckstrasse when driving on the planeggerstrasse and you will see the the Tai San sign board directly on your right at the parking lot. Enough parking places for free. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this place thanks to Tripadvisor. We live around Munich and were looking for a good Asian restaurant in the area. After trying several places in Munich, we decided to try Tai San since it is also closer to our place. We were extremely positively surprised by the taste of the food (fantastic duck with curry and coconut sauce!!!). The service is also fast and efficient. Prices are very fair and cheaper than most of other Restaurants in the area. We are going to Tai San quite often (once per moth) as it became our favourite place to eat Thai food.
