Tai Won Mein Noodle House

Best Noodle House I have been to. Been coming here since they opened in approx 2003/2004?! Prices have increased over the years from around £3.80 per dish to £7-8 but in my opinion the prices are still worth the quality and quantity provided. The restaurant is also half the size it used to be (it was previously cooked upstairs and brought down via a lift). Seating is benches but comfortable enough and space is ample. I am glad the drinks sizes have increased recently. Food is freshly cooked and brought out promptly and unlike places like Wagamama etc the food is brought out with closer timings!

Food was AWFUL !! I now know that they don't let anything go to waste, I found soo much duck skin in my Singapore fried rice!. Food was very blend, we were very disappointed with all the dishes that we ordered and it didn't meet its expectations..have have had ALOT better.esleqhere.. WASTE OF MONEY... the only things that was great about the restaurant was the portion size and prices..

Tried this May Bank Holiday 29th and again on Saturday 3rd June. Lovely Chinese and huge portions so great value for money. Service is quick but it's cash only. Sesame prawn toast is loaded with prawns. Lovely chunks of chicken in sweet sour chicken balls. Roast pork and duck chow mien was delicious and Sweet Sour chicken with rice had chunks of pineapple and fresh peppers 10/10

Have used this restaurant for many years and have always been delighted by the quality and value plus friendly service. Sadly the quality, particularly of the meat seems to have gone down in recent weeks. We understand that it must be difficult nowadays given the economic climate at the moment, sadly it will be awhile before we will return. Reserva una mesa ahora

Once again, the food and service at this restaurant were excellent. They still only accept cash when placing your order, but this policy is in place because of past incidents where customers consumed their food and then left without paying.

I was taken here by my son and his lady as a surprise. The food was really enjoyable, the staff delightful and the menu had a good selection of vegetarian options for me. I cannot answer the cost questions as they paid

The food was okay, but the lack of heating made for an uncomfortable experience. Sitting in a freezing cold environment was not enjoyable and I would not recommend this restaurant in the winter.

Never had major issues, But it needs an Online Menu. Customers post good looking meals, with no explanation of what they are eating. Its an old enough business to have a website Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant is delicious and authentic, with generous portion sizes at a great price. They offer both dine-in and takeout options.

Good food, great portions but strange atmosphere. Restaurant was freezing and everyone was sitting with jackets on.
