Taiko Sushi Japanese

I had a terrible experience with the service at this restaurant. I've been a regular customer for quite some time, but something has definitely changed. The staff seemed disengaged and unfriendly, almost like zombies. I've since discovered a new place in Massapequa where the food is fresh and the service is excellent.

Overall, the sushi was quite good. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The sashimi pieces were generously sized and very fresh. I particularly enjoyed the ikura (salmon roe), which was always delicious. My friend ordered some rolls and scallops. Rating for the food: 4/5.

The sushi had a questionable smell and tasted very low quality. The atmosphere was uncomfortable as well. The dirty fish tank at the entrance should have been a warning sign. Also, the Yaki Udon was made with something other than actual udon noodles. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

Food is fresh. Really tasty. Would highly recommend if you're a sushi lover. Also they have Mr. Green tea ice cream which is the best. Excellent food.
