We are huge fans of Tailgate! The bartender that took our food and drink order was awesome and really knew his beers and offered great recommendations for food. We order frequently from the East location, but have never been to this one. The reason for the 3 stars is the fact that each time we needed something, we had to go back to the bar for it, despite there being a waiter on the patio. They automatically closed my tab at closing time, which included a 20% gratuity…the amount someone gets charged when they forget to close their tab. Nick behind the bar was incredibly helpful for my first time at any of this brewery’s locations. He let me sample a few beers/seltzers that he thought I would like based off of what I told him I usually go for, and he nailed it! Was hard to pick between all of the fantastic options. Already excited to come back next time I’m in town!
amazing place. tons of choices of beers heavy on IPAs short on stouts. Service is great. Pizza is is well above par. If you like stouts and wheat mixes try the ice cream sundae cone and tailgate orange, it takes me back to when I was younger and got that orange chocolate ball for Christmas.
Just stopped in for one beer while walking back to my hotel on a very hot day. I believe I had a cold IPA. It was good. If I had more time, I’d have sampled more beers. I wish there had been a bit more variety of cans in their cooler. I might’ve bought some to take back with me.

What a nice local bar! Plenty of outdoor seating. We had gone for weekday lunch, really quick service! Great pizza and beer The playlist was also I nice change from usual Nashville music. Would definitely be back whenever in Nashville again.
Outstanding staff, awesome food, and an incredibly impressive range of great beers. What a highlight to visit this crew of enthusiastic and welcoming people. This is “Top Shelf”!
Cool patio with a vast beer selection. Counter-style service and decent pizzas, friendly staff…but they tried to charge us for crushed red pepper with our pizza.
Great brewery with a good selection of beers. I really enjoyed the hazy IPAs they had on tap.
