I'd like to point out that this is not the same Taipei Cafe as the one in Rockville Maryland. I see that the majority of the photos and even some reviews for the other Taipei Cafe ended up on this page, which is extremely misleading. The name of this restaurant is also misleading. There's nothing Taiwanese about this place. They don't serve any Taiwanese style dishes. This place is your typical Americanized Chinese take out, serving things like Kung Pao chicken, moo goo Gai pan, and orange chicken. So don't confuse them with the other Taipei Cafe and know what you're expecting. That being said, the food was just OK. Spicy beef noodle soup: The broth is very bland. No beefy broth flavor here...

This is after thorough review of menu and pictures on this google maps and other platforms. All the food items offered are Americanized chinese food. Some interior pictures uploaded to this Leesburg Taipei Cafe location are actually the interior of the Rockville Taipei Cafe where true Taiwanese food is served (for example: oyster pancake, Taiwanese hamburger, pork chop rice, braised port on rice, salt pepper pork chops, salt pepper shrimp with shell head on, fried intestines, oyster vermicielli, stirfried loofah, really good shaved ice with classic Taiwanese toppings,...
I have been ordering from Taipei Cafe over the last few years. I see that a review that I formerly posted has gotten removed. I think by this shop managing their own orders, they might also have negotiated controlling their own reviews. It used to be that I could consistently rely on quality food and delivery from this location. However, the last two times I have ordered from this location I have gotten very sick: one time terrible stomach problems and the last time with a swollen tongue and food poisoning. If is a shame that the standards for this location have bottomed out to this place. I cannot order from this location anymore.
UPDATE OK so most of the good reviews here are all for the REAL Taipei Cafe in Rockville all mistakenly written here. So the actual rating for this restaurant should be much lower than 2 stars. I can 't believe a restaurant survives on using the same name to confuse customers. 8.28.2023 How can they name themselves Taipei Cafe? Nothing here is Taiwanese. Hard to be considered authentic at all. Wonton is so thick. Dumplings don 't taste like dumplings, they taste like bao getting thrown into soup. I shouldn 't even drive here wasted my time and money. THIS IS NOT A TAIWANESE RESTAURANT. CHANGE YOUR NAME!!

I love, love this restaurant!! My family craves the pork with dry bean curd (tofu) which isn?t even on their menu but they make it special for us!! I?m familiar with authentic Taiwanese cuisine and this is my entire family?s favorite dish. It is unavailable at any other Chinese restaurant, you must try it!!
Great service, great food, and exponential delivery that offers contactless service. I understand that currently it’s a hard situation for small businesses as a result of the pandemic. Stay strong!
We enjoyed our takeout meals. Large portions were delicious. We plan to return when the opportunity arises.
