Taishan Gardens Restaurant

The quality of the food here has gone so far downhill that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Gone are the days when you could expect your food to be hot, tasty and not dripping in grease. This last takeout order will be just that...our last. Over the past few months we have ordered take out twice prior to this occasion and each time it was greasy, especially the jar Doo chicken wings . We kept thinking that we had picked an "off" night to order because we had NEVER had issues with the food before.N ow after reading some of the reviews on FB I've learned that the original owners have sold it.What a tragedy. The new owners have been trying to fly under the radar on the reputation of the previous owners. Well , we've clued in and it will just be a matter of time before this becomes another hole in the wall dumpy wannabe Chinese restaurant . Good bye Taishen Dump.......After reading some of the reviews on their FB page I now realize that the original owners sold it!! That explains a lot. Wish I had known that a few months ago

Have dined here in the past . Although not an upscale restaurant but was fare for lunch . That being said I decided to have the buffet lunch with friends . The food was cold as was the dining area and bathroom . The vegetables were not crunchy-tender , they were completely uncooked as if added after dish was cooked . Egg rolls were soggy with barely any filling .Tables are so close you can't push your chair back to stand up without banging into the person at the table behind you . Not an enjoyable dining experience at all .

On a weekday at lunch, Taishan was busy with hungry construction workers, Air Force personnel and other locals taking advantage of the very reasonably priced all-inclusive buffet. There was a nice selection of items of traditional and North Americanized Chinese cuisine from dumpling soup to dessert. Service was efficient and friendly.

This is a smaller buffet, not too many choices. Cost is very good. The food is average, service is good. Convenient on the go... Take away menu offers a better experience.

The buffet may be much smaller than the big box Chinese restaurants but the food is fresh! Will be back!
