We had a few fruit flies around while we were eating, at least 5 at some point: in winter and inside the restaurant. One fell into my beer and when we mentioned to the waitress that there was a fly and a few others around she said it wasn´t their fault and wasn´t there when she served us. Obviously I know that but the flies should have not been there to start with. Very poor customer service from this lady. The food was good.
Not a fan of Indian take-away, but it was cold out and we decided to order online, pick-up and eat at home. Food was ready at the specified time and still warm from the kitchen. Surprisingly fresh and well presented - despite being take-away. We had Fish curry and goat curry. The latter was exceptionally good. The sauce used in the fish curry had a great flavour, but we found it too creamy and rich.
Taj Agra located in Dickson has a great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. The menu is extensive and the food is beautifully presented and oh so wonderfully traditional Indian. Favourites of mine are the plain naan bread, chicken tikka and the lamb rogan josh. As a regular business traveller to Canberra Taj Agra has become my favourite restaurant!
Family dinner for 4 adults was a pleasant experience. Good range of food, atmosphere friendly and well lit. 70% capacity including a party of about 30 did not impact on fast and friendly service. Moderate cost of $30 per head for entre and mains plus soft drinks. Located in midtown Chinatown Dickson so parking can be an issue. Reserva una mesa ahora
After reading other reviews regarding this restaurant, we drove across from Majura especially to try. Absolutely worth our effort. All dishes we selected were very good and the service is a lovely blend of professional and friendly. Thankyou Taj Agra for the great experience. We will definitely return.
Taj Agra is a great choice for fine dining and delicious Indian cuisine! The owner and the staff are friendly. The folk music is great for an authentic experience. The dishes are well priced and the food is really worth it :) I had the amazing Tandoori Sizzler, Highly recommended by this foodie :)
Chhose from a very large range of Indian and Pakistani cuisine. We tried Dal Mukhani, Raita, Lamb cutlets, whole Tandoori chicken, Malai Kofta, Bhuna Lamb and more. All the dishes were excellent. Service was great and the prices were very reasonable.
Me and my husband had a really great time in Taj Agra. The food was delicious and the staffs were friendly and cheerful and the ambience was perfect with soft sufi music...I would love to visit the place again and again for the great Indian Cuisine. Reserva una mesa ahora
I recently visited Taj Agra and ordered the thaali - banquet for one person. It was beautifully presented and was very tasty food. Perfect for business traveller when dining alone.
