not only is this the best Indian restaurant in the fairfield area, but it can only be the best restaurant in the opposite, period. eating is absolutely delicious, the service is incredible, and the portions are generous. I had so many dishes from the menu and they were all excellent. my current faves are the chicken biryani, huhn tikka masala, palak disererer, sweet curry, and the huhn korma. the kitchen is also incredibly accommodating. they want to do something with only one hauch, done. You want to fire it, no problem. in the middle, again, perfect performance. end them with a note on the high level of service, alex and humesh are such friendly hostess. they will make their meal special....
my mother and I are never, ever, disappointed when we go to Indian cuisine. eating is absolutely wonderful, the personal is so sweet, and it is a very nice, clean place to eat. the last time we went, we got a free appetizer and dessert! the main course comes fast, hot and so delicious every time. our server was too big - I think his name was sumesh- and he took the time to explain some of the menu options as we are not too familiar with it. we are coming back to the final. probably tomorrow lol!
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good vegan menu with good collection of options. Waiter also noticed without us asking about vegan options and took the liberty to mention the crispy bread and which sauces were vegan that they give you for free as an appetizer. We really appreciated the gesture. Food was wonderful and prices were fair. Felt full and extremely satisfied. Would recommend!

Consistently delicious. The food is outstanding. I usually order takeout, however the restaurant looks lovely for dining in. Convenient location with ample parking. I have worked in Westchester with many friends from India have tried many different restaurants over the years with them. Taj (Fairfield is the best. Friendly polite too. Highly recommend.
Amazing restaurant! Everything came out tasting delicious. The tandoori chicken was tender and flavorful. The lamb chops were tender and succulent. The mango lassi was perfectly sweet and amazing.The service was also great! 10/10 and definitely recommend!
taj was absolutely incredible! our waiter sumesh was so attentive and friendly. eating, service, atmosphere, all 10/10. can not wait to come back!
Definitely if you are vegan and you are craving some Indian food you gotta try this restaurant they have a lot of vegan options with fair prices.
