Taj Palace - Reserva de mesa

I ordered a chicken tandoori salad, lamb dasak (sweet and sour dish with lentils) and naan bread. The salad arrived without dressing, instead it arrived with a gravy boat containing the chicken and peppers swimming in a hot (temperature) sauce. The idea is that you...pour this on the salad, creating a disgusting mess which I could not eat. A salad is supposed to be chilled, with perhaps warm pieces of chicken, this was something else.. it was like a soup. When the dansak arrived I immediately noticed that there were no lentils, it was just stewed lamb in a tomato sauce. Are all the lamb curries the same?? tja in terms of environment, etc. I can't complain here, but no special praise. my assessment therefore mainly refers to food. I find this in contrast to other Indian restaurants in Germany that I clearly do not know that well. I found the different dishes I served here in more or less large intervals of time, just a little taste. it is not that they should be sharp because I, but the Indian cuisine lives from seasons, and from these I taste very little with these. Conclusion: I prefer in carlsruhe other inder, although some of my well-known and friends also find these inder well.

There are lots of good restaurants in Karlsruhe, but you want Indian food, the choices are limited. Taj Palace is a great choice in Karlsruhe though. I have been to this restaurant on various trips. The latest visit didn't disappoint either. The food was cooked...well with excellent flavor and taste. Garlic naan was great also.

good Indian eating in the classic Indian ambiente. the service was (at least on the midday) quite unfriendly, but we found this in the midday table enforcement. the inder also offers to take the food and has a delivery service. the prices are Indian and ok, normal prices are happier. I have been here couple of times, and ordered something different every single time. Loved the food every single time. It was delicious. Service was at a reasonable pace. Food might be a bit pricey too, but worth it. The waiter, Saeed, is a great...guy!

I was in few indian restaurants with my Colleagues and I must admit that they have the best original Indian food. This was my third time here and the food Was delicious and all the waitress were very friendly. A very Good atmosphere all together.

The service was very good. But the taste of the food was not at all good. Everything tastes bad. The mango lassi was horrible. The food was a little pricy too. We won't go back there again for sure.

Nice restaurant. However, when I asked for a Jalfresi the waiter said it was virtually the same as a bhuna. The bhuna was very good but the Jalfresi was totally bland. Not what I was expecting. Reserva una mesa ahora

I liked this place a lot. The wait staff were wonderful and the food was great, what more can you ask for? I had the chana masala and lamb curry, both were excellent.

We were very satisfied when we went there. Service was friendly and fast! And the dishes we had were tasty!
