Tajinier Arcachon La Teste-de-buch

After watching a show on M6 which promoted this establishment channel, I decided to try it. Result: Welcoming setting and decoration, very reasonable prices, variety and quality of food, nothing to complain about. In winter, it's a little cool while eating (the premises lack thermal insulation) so the air conditioning is on full blast to try to warm up the restaurant. The service is very good. The complaints: the dishes are of poor quality, the plates are almost all chipped, lack of choice in terms of desserts and lack of presentation of the concept or the formula proposed by the reception. Overall this is a restaurant that I would recommend.

I was expecting something quite exceptional given the comments but unfortunately it did not at all correspond to the taste that one would expect from certain dishes like chicken briwat or kofta balls with tomato sauce which were not not good at all. For desserts, I only tasted the chebakia and they weren't very good either. Nevertheless, the restaurant staff is very friendly and so is the atmosphere. This is an all you can eat restaurant priced at 22 euros per person.

Nous y sommes allés pour déjeuner, les plats étaient variés et savoureux. Mais nous sommes déçus de cette 1ere et dernière expérience au Tajinier en raison de l'accueil lors de notre arrivée. Nous avions l'air de déranger la dame qui nous a reçu et qui a pris notre commande, et aucune salutation de la part du monsieur (manager ? qui a traversé la salle en nous regardant. Excellent couscous, both on site and to take away where I was very well served by a young woman at the La Teste restaurant. We are also much better served at La Teste than at MERIGNAC I highly recommend for a good time in a very warm and exotic setting Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
