Take Five Bistro

So delicious ! This was our first visit to Take Five Bistro Windsor . From the road it looked closed and like a humble sandwiche shop. Don't be fooled, it was open. Inside it is pretty and sophisticated with gentle, unobtrusive music. It was chilly and raining outside so I had French Onion Soup hot, properly simmered and flavoured, a generous amount of onions, bread, and cheese. My husband started with the Beet Salad a very nice twist on salad, delicious goat cheese balls, nutritious beets. My main was a medium rare Filet Mignon with bacon-jam and cheese. Oh my goodness, this was super delicious, tender, perfectly grilled, and an amazing combination of flavours. Usually when we go out at least one thing will go wrong with our meal or service . Take Five Bistro was perfect. Thanks Kyle. Highly recommended.

Not mad at all at the steak I ordered. There wasn’t a single bone-in cut on the menu and only a few of my bites were explosive with flavor where as the rest of the bites were just great steak that’s why 4 stars not 5. Im aware that sometimes they do have some bone-in options but to me that’s just strange to not always have it. Anyways it was priced appropriately, and the staff was very professional. Might be Windsor’s best option for steak.

Exceptional! Reserved for a 50-year anniversary celebration and not disappointed. Excellent drinks, apps and the net were amazing. We had 3 children and the staff treated them wonderfully. White cheddar bacon zartloin was fantastic. We always think about Take Five for a great family eating experience!

By far the best food I ever had. We visited the keg, but the keg is now not a comparison that we were here. My steak was a 12/10 like the rest of the meal. Ask for Adrian's section, the guy knows his stuff and surpasses our expectations. No more keg for us.

Such a great place to dine overall. Atmosphere 10/10, food is high quality and so flavourful, and the service was incomparable. Adrian, the waiter was so attentive and professional. This place is worth every penny
