We so love the food and atmosphere at this restaurant we just needed to express to the world what they are missing if they do not dine here. First one can not make a bad call on the food as there is not a bad item on the menu. The Hamachi Kama is top notch and so delicious also. Try it you’ll love it. The sushi is so fresh and likely swimming in the ocean the day before. The Alaskan soup is super yummy and a great starter. If your not a fan of sushi there is plenty of great cooked choices for you also. I’ve been ordering the spicy California roll here for years. Today, I picked up my order and noticed it was mainly just avocado in my roll with some spicy mayo. I was eating in my car right outside of the restaurant, so I went back inside and showed the employee, and she said that’s how the roll is prepared. I responded with I won’t be ordering this roll again, If I wanted an avocado roll , I would’ve ordered that. Employee didn’t seem to care at all. I won’t be returning to this restaurant mainly because it doesn’t seem concerning to them if a customer is dissatisfied. You can clearly see by my pictures that there was hardly anything other than avocado.

Take Sushi is my favorite spot for sushi, not just in Michigan but anywhere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions you might have. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between clean and casual, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The food is fantastic; I’ve yet to encounter a sushi roll that I didn’t love. We often dine in and also place takeout orders while we’re there. You can really tell you're paying for high-quality ingredients and service from some of the best staff around. I highly recommend this place for lunch or takeout!

Delightful, fresh sashimi! The seafood selection here is impressive. I do wish some items, like the octopus tentacle, were available in larger portions instead of just thin slices. Other than that, this place is the best around! I've been enjoying meals here consistently for the past year and it remains my favorite! We LOVE this place. We refer to it as our secret gem. So imagine our shock when my kids starting searching for best sushi in Detroit, freshest sushi in Southeast MI and top ten best sushi in Detroit and they all included Take Sushi. So the secret is out! This is the best sushi locally! Note: the place is very small, and most people do take-out. Enjoy!

best sushi in town. my boyfriend and i have made this our go-to date spot because of how awesome it is. it’s super cute inside and the prices are great! only downside is they used to give you free soup and salad, but now they don’t. please bring it back!! it was one of our favorite things. btw: the spicy salmon roll is to die for!!

The sushi was uninspiring. Since when does a sushi roll contain minced salmon? I’ve had authentic sushi before, and this isn’t it. The flavors were missing, and I won’t be returning. It’s just not up to par—there are much better options out there.

They’re sushi is not good at all the deep fried Cali is so big and doesn’t taste like others sushi places
