My wife and I am sad to see the less than stellar reviews but our experience has been nothing but exceptional in our ten+ years as customers. We've tried all their cakes but are hooked on the Purcell. In our experience, these are the best cake bakers in Connecticut. Their scones and cookies are delicious too.

My husband and I took the cakes for our trial dinner and wedding. Your cakes are AMAZING! All natural ingredients and delicious. Best wedding cake ever, and it was beautifully decorated. When we buy cake for each event, we drive the 40 minutes from our house for Take the Cake! Thank you for everything!

Take the cakes made our wedding cakes and it was spectacular. We went with the white chocolate mousse cake we always loved. Take the cakes made to admire an elegant, beautiful cake for our guests and serves a consistent and tasty piece for our 75 guests. The service and quality were worth every penny.

Everything is AMAZING at Take the Cake. I particularly like them selling cake slices. Love the chocolate raspberry cake!!!!
