Became very ill after eating their shrimp and vegetable tempura. Went to bed early and woke up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous. Tried to sleep it through only to wake up at 3 in the morning to have multiple exorcisms out my rear end. I had an episode of family guy where the whole family was viciously vomiting except out my rear end as I sat in the dark feeling like dying. The waitress was very polite and nice. Can't say the about the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The crust was not crunchy, it had somewhat a crusty yet soft exterior and felt very oily biting into it. The Vegetables were very bland. My wife and I were searching for an authentic Japanese restaurant this evening and we discovered an incredible spot. Our dining experience and the quality of the food were outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional; our waitress was attentive and provided impeccable service. The food was the best Japanese cuisine we’ve ever had. The chef even came to our table to serve us, adding a special touch to our visit. We were genuinely touched by their hospitality. This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. I don’t often write reviews, but the service from the staff was exceptional. The atmosphere of the place is cozy without feeling cramped. We ordered a few rolls, some traditional sushi, and miso soup, and everything was DELICIOUS! I've never devoured my sushi rolls so quickly. The food arrived promptly and was packed with flavor. I will definitely be coming back! It also appears to be a smaller, perhaps family-owned establishment and it’s important to support these kinds of businesses. Overall, it’s a great restaurant—definitely deserving of 5 out of 5 stars.

We had a lovely dining experience at Takumi. It was our first time there and the food was fresh, authentic and the service was extremely friendly. We loved the cozy atmosphere. Everything was phenomenal. We had the soba noodles, fried oysters, takumi for two, the yellowtail jaw, and chirashi. I only have two pics. Anyway, I expect to become a regular here.
