Own a house on Sunset and have made it a mission to try a new place each time we 're down here as we always default to our local favorites. Restaurant is nice ... kind of gave us a banquet feel when we were seated. Waiter was friendly and efficient. We started w/ a bottle of wine, but the wine menu had a font size of 7. Be sure to bring your glasses! I ordered the chicken piccata which is one of my favorite dishes to order. It was very saucy and flavorful. Didn 't knock me off my socks was pretty basic. Went to the talk of the town for the first time on 11-5-22 with three other couples to celebrate 3 birthdays (brought in a cake). Most of us traveled from SC. The food was good and reasonably priced and the staff was also great. The staff brought out the cake and then sliced it for us. When we got our bill they charged each couple 2.00 for slicing the cake. I in the pass have taken cakes to many different restaurants and was never charge for cutting a cake. 8.00 total for
When this restaurant first opened, we tried their take-out during the pandemic, and it was pretty good. We visited a couple of times after that and the food was good, the prices were good and there was a welcoming atmosphere. We never liked the name for an Italian restaurant though. Seems there could be a million names that scream Italian so why this, unless wanting the option to change to something else. The last few times we visited was different. The ambiance is not
We found it's not worth traveling to So. Carolina to go to some Italian restaurant (Ducati's, Olive Garden, Benitos) when we have good Italian food near us in NC. The food is very good, great lasagna, daily specials, they will bend on certain things as far as pasta or sauces to your wants and the wait staff are all terrific, Doug is very good and personable...I would definitely recommend them Reserva una mesa ahora
My husband and I had been searching for good Italian food for awhile, after moving down here from MA. We have loved this place since discovering it a few months ago. Authentic Italian cuisine, made with the freshest ingredients. The staff are friendly and attentive. The portions are plentiful and the prices are reasonable. Couldn?t like this place more!
I had a special appetizer called Mango Tango as a meal. Fresh Shrimp and calamari cooked to perfection with a side of marinara. Very tender and tasty. My wife got the Lasagna and she liked it but didn't like the Italian sausage in it. I thought that it tasted great with the sausage. The salads were very fresh and the wait staff friendly and attentive.
